Anderson Paak Previews Upcoming Collaboration With Chance The Rapper

Anderson Paak already got the anticipation train rolling with his announcement that his backing band, The Free Nationals, would be releasing a new album this year. (The likelihood that Paak doesn’t play a major role on the project is slim to none.) Now, he’s raised the stakes by previewing an upcoming collaboration with Chance The Rapper.

In the video clip, which was ripped from Snapchat, Paak intros the footage of the two in the studio with, “It’s still west side, right on time n*gga.” Though their collab is playing in the background and only briefly, you can clearly hear Chance belting out some notes in his singing voice over a steady drum beat.

Neither artist gave any indication as to whose project the song would land on, but given their chemistry, it’s bound to be a heater. Previously, Paak appeared on Chance’s Coloring Book, soulfully willing the final chorus of the final song on the project, “Blessings (Reprise),” into existence.

Check out the snippet of Paak and Chance’s collab above.
