AlxndrB Snapback Jesus Peace Divine Bradley

Divine Bradley, who’s behind the AlxndrB line is taking the image of hip-hop jewelry back to the Jesus piece. Look around, for years as rap became more wacky, its characters associated themselves with the gaudy and goofiest of characters—Gucci Mane’s Bart Simpson chain, Soulja Boy’s black Lamborghini pendant, for example. AlxndrB blends the element of jewelry, but simplifies it leaving out the stupidity through the Jesus Peace cap. It’s nothing to piss off conservatives, but who cares anyway. It’s about PEACE, and bringing cultures together. In New York City, we should know a little bit about that, with diversity being our strong suit.

Divine Bradley is speaking to those with an open mind—anyone can and should rock the Jesus Peace regardless of religious belief. Hip-hop has already bridged the gap between cultures, and he’s seen it do so as a Brooklyn native, being active in his community. In 2000, Divine started a community service program called Team Revolution in BK, along with a Fashion Business workshop to teach kids about the fashion industry. The Jesus Peace hat is another way for Divine to create products and infuse cultures. He’s giving back to the ‘hood by donating 25% of the sales from each hat to community murals, fashion related workshops, and other local charitable causes. Get yours for free when you join our mailing list (use input form to the right). We’re giving away three snapbacks to US domestic residents only. Winners will be announced next Friday.
