A Look at “The Simpsons”/”Family Guy” Crossover Episode

A teaser of the upcoming and highly anticipated episode of The Simpsons/Family Guy crossover was shown off at the official Family Guy panel during 2014’s San Diego Comic Con event this weekend. The teaser, shown in the player above, reveals nearly five minutes of the episode’s footage. Viewers can see Peter and Homer getting along and eating donuts together, Stewie and Bart becoming close pranking friends, and a cameo by both Bob of Bob’s Burger’s and Cleveland of The Cleveland Show.

The Simpsons/Family Guy crossover is set to air on September 28 just after the long-awaited season premiere of The Simpsons, in which one major character will officially die off. The episode is called “Clown in the Dumps,” and maybe hints at either Sideshow Bob or Krusty the Clown meeting their demise. The trailer for that episode can be found below.
