12ozProphet Relaunches With A New Site and Book

For years, one of the best places to find out about graffiti was at 12ozProphet, a small website powered by a bunch of random graffiti nerds across the world. Originally a printed independent magazine, the site became a digital writer’s bench populated by blogs and forums before Instagram benching even existed. A kid from New York was able to upload pics of Ja One throwies, see flicks from the United Crushers crew in Minneapolis and learn about ink recipes all in one place.

Last year the site abruptly went quiet, but now it’s officially back with a brand new look. On the new version, there are great features on Os Gemeos, Veefer, Norm MSK and more.

The real treat from 12oz’s relaunch though is their new book, The Official Bootleg Series v2.5. It’s a tiny 6 x 6 inch collection with 96 pages of some ridiculous graffiti. It’s primarily focused on New York writers with some rare photos of Dash Snow (aka Sace of IRAK Crew), Todd James Reas, SP One, Ket RIS, KR and more. Check out some images of the book below.

The Official Bootleg Series v2.5 itself is a real nice product with chrome foil stamped onto the cover, matte laminate coating that reveals hidden artwork on some pages, and silver ink used to highlight tags. All of it comes packaged in a sealed foil bag that looks like space food and honestly makes you think twice before opening it. As always, 12ozProphet knows how to deliver.

And if you missed out on all the great books they published in the past like Million Dollar Vandal, 12oz’s shop is open with restocked copies that will probably sell out soon.
