Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola for Prada
Who knows how to get down? The French do! Prada decided to get funky and hire some rather avant-garde talent to promote their new Candy perfume. The infamous Italian fashion label hired indie film mavericks Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola (yep, son of you-know-who Coppola) to create a witty 3-minute short that personifies “Candy” as a fun-loving French girl (Léa Seydoux) that falls in love with two dashing, but opposing, fellows played by Peter Gadiot and Rodolphe Pauly. This is tight. Not only does the 3-minute short entertain, it wallops the hell out of a ton of full-length crap that’s been out lately.
