Watch Paul Rodriguez Recreate 2001’s “Street Cinema”

Whether at the theater, in music, through video games, or on your feet, modern re-releases of older hits has increasingly become a go-to staple. Skater Paul Rodriguez is getting in on that recreation magic, more than ten years on from his 2001 City Stars release “Street Cinema.” With an assist from Network A, original cameraman Heath Brinkley broke out his lens to document P-Rod going through his tally of 48-tricks for “Paul Rodriguez Life.” This Steve Berra-produced clip goes one step further than most reinterpretations, by juxtaposing the original footage with the new set. See how the current P-Rod lines up against his younger self as he skates The Berrics.
