Right now I’m gonna keep a tunnel vision

Kodak Black’s latest offering, “Tunnel Vision” serves up some strong visuals indeed. The song, produced by Metro Boomin & Southside was leaked back in December, quickly receiving millions of plays on YouTube.

In just the first few seconds of the video we see Kodak rapping in front of an arrangement of burning crosses, one of which we see draped with the effigy of a KKK member. The video goes on to follow your average Trump supporter, or what we imagine to be a caricature of one. The man is armed and wearing a hat emblazoned with the phrase “MAKE AMERICA HATE AGAIN.”

A struggle unfolds between the armed white man and an unarmed black man.

Does any of this sound familiar to you?

The main hook “my momma told me boy make a decision
right now I’m gonna keep a tunnel vision” could be interpreted in many ways but our guess is that Kodak, plans to keep pushing forward in light of our current political climate.
