Last September, Mass Appeal teamed up with the Kingston Trolley Museum of New York for The Burning of Kingston, a live graffiti exhibition and battle. “Team Terrible” (Doc TC5, T-Kid, Dero, and Dmote) and “The Spice Boys” (Ces TMT, Bio TAT, Doves TC5, and Ribs GAK) went head to head on opposite sides of an authentic NYC subway car, battling it out for best collective burner.
This year, we’re headed upstate again for the second annual Burning of Kingston, featuring the returning champs (The Spice Boys) taking on Nover AOB, Vers, Yes 1, and Nicer TAT. The event will be curated by Mass Appeal’s Sacha Jenkins and artist/historian David “Chino” Villorente, and will also feature live music and food from local vendors. There’s no where else in the world you can witness graf legends get busy on an actual New York City subway car, so make sure to mark your calendars and get your travel plans in order.
