“That Mitt I Don’t Like”: Chief Keef Inspires a Political Tee

Socially-inspired clothing is nothing new. From Sean John’s “Vote Or Die” apparel to Rocawear’s controversial “Occupy All Streets” t-shirts, streetwear has been capturing the happenings of our world on fabric.

Just in time for the election, the newest piece to hit the digital shelves is the “That Mitt I Don’t Like” t-shirt. Created by a group of former Morehouse College classmates, the shirt draws it’s inspiration from Chief Keef’s hit song “Shit I Don’t Like” (remixed by Kanye West) the G.O.O.D. music artwork font and… a general dislike for presidential candidate, Governor Mitt Romney. Aaron Rhodan, one of the shirt’s creators stated “‘Shit’ rhymes with ‘Mitt’ obviously, so we kind of did a play on words with that.”

Rhodan, part of the 12oz team, sat down with his camp to discuss a little politics, Chicago and his creative collectives’ future. Check out the entire interview on 12oz Prophet and buy the shirt on Big Cartel.

If you managed to scoop one up already, make sure to Twitpic the shirt using the hashtag #MittIDontLike.
