Stop telling women to smile!

We previously reported about Tatyana Fazlalizadeh’s successful Kickstarter campaign, where the young Brooklyn artist was able to raise over $30,000 to bring her “Stop Telling Women to Smile” artwork on the road. Now, she’s doing just that. With the help of local artists, students, and professors from Georgia State University she is making her out of state debut.

The “Stop Telling Women To Smile” campaign is aimed at promoting awareness about the ills of street harassment and the commodifacation of women in general . With the funds raised Fazlalizadeh is continuing her mission to educate the world visa street art one city at a time.
