The quintessential tennis shoe, which first launch in 1975, was originally named the Wimbledon – only apt to name a tennis shoe after the game’s most illustrious tournament. The shoe was re-imagined as the Tennis Classic in the 1980’s with an updated cupsole and tennis legends Jimmy Connors, Billie Jean King, and racket throwing, John McEnroe were all partial to a pair back in the day. After a long hiatus, Nike SB reintroduced the pair in 2005, adding it’s Zoom Air bag technology.
This rendition has been designed by Supreme and developed by Nike. The plush leather body is available in four colorways, black, white, navy and our favorite, tennis ball yellow. Retailing for $110, the Supreme x Nike SB tennis classic sneakers will be available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on April 25th.
