Supreme, the streetwear brand folks either love or love to hate— no one’s judging, this isn’t a teen-angst forum— present a number of pieces from their Spring/Summer 2014 sunglasses collection. Showcasing a range of four differing eyewear models, Supreme has got looks for just about everyone in this collection.
First we have the “Frances” frame, similar in style to those joints Kurt Cobain made famous. These are perfect for that romper who throws on what he throws on, even if you think they’re shades perfect for a lady.
The “Tunnel Metal” style is perfect for those looking to keep it industrial and sleek, coming in a gold, black, or metal finish with black accents and engraved branding. These subtle joints keep it low-key with the right amount of pop.
Next up we have the “Factory” frames, coming in an oh-so-wavey rounded frame. You might not be able to get your hands on some Moscot joints, but these ‘Preme P-3-styled frames are just as dope. Luckily, they come in clear blue, white, black and tortoise.
Then we have the “Wellington,” a classic wayfarer frame with what appears to be detachable lenses. Coming in a variety of colors including “parking block” yellow, tortoise, Supreme red, and black, these are sure to be popular.
It’s Supreme, so you know they’re going to deliver some exclusive ish; the Frances, Wellington, and Tunnel Metal styles are handmade in Japan and feature CR 39-tinted and UV-coated lenses. The Factory model is handmade in Italy and features mirrored lenses with anti-reflective coating.
You can scoop up a pair (or three) of Supreme’s new sunglasses collection online or Supreme’s NY, London, and LA locations May 22, followed by a Japan release on May 24.
