I was doing a vocal for 40 water that originally was to be a Nate Dogg vocal, but he couldn’t get clearance for it tho. I tried it and it worked. The beat was some battle cat shit — I was with 40 for a couple of days workin’ at the pimpagon. We drank Carlos Rossi (those big hundred gallon bottles of cheap wine from and grocery store), till it was fuckin’ silly and shameful, but the lesson on Bay Area Culture was priceless..
