Suge Knight in Intensive Care After Being Shot At Chris Brown’s Party

Suge Knight, the 49-year-old founder of Death Row Records, was shot early Sunday at West Hollywood nightclub 1Oak on Sunset Boulevard. The shooting took place at a party hosted by Chris Brown to celebrate the MTV Video Music Awards, and Knight was among three people of the people shot. Knight was shot six times, mostly in the stomach and arm, but in other places as well.

However, Knight walked out of the club on his own, and was helped by a responding officer who seated him inside a police car. Ambulances arrived soon thereafter, and Knight was taken to the hospital. After undergoing surgery, he is currently in an intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Knight is expected to recover.

This isn’t the first time Knight has been shot at a VMA party, as he was also shot in the leg at a party in Miami hosted by Kanye West in 2005.
