In this episode of Off Tha’ Wall we kick it with Maybach Music Group’s friendly bearded fellow Stalley. The Massillon, Ohio emcee has been on the grind since 2008, when he dropped his debut mixtape Goin Ape with DJ Terry Urban. After working with artists such as Curren$y and Ski Beats, the Chevy riding rapper took his talents down to South Beach and signed with Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group.
During our interview the Blue Collar Gang leader breaks down how he got his name, being influenced by Scarface, Michael Jackson, and Curtis Mayfield. He also goes into detail about the meanings behind the titles Intelligent Trunk Music and Honest Cowboy, and why he chooses LeBron over Kobe and Nikes over Jordans. Enjoy the interview above and check out Stalley’s latest video for “Raise Your Weapons.”
