SMTH & Capital STEEZ in the studio

SMTH “Last Straw” FT. Capital STEEZ

Just a few days after Summer Knights drops, Brooklyn rapper SMTH releases his collaboration with Capital STEEZ, which happens to be STEEZ's last recorded verse before his death #LongLiveSteelo

It’s been over six months since the untimely death of Pro Era member Capital STEEZ but his presence is still felt in the hip hop community. With that being said, Brooklyn rapper SMTH releases his collaboration with STEEZ, which is featured on his mixtape The SMTH Project. The song was recorded five days before Capital STEEZ’s life ended, and it was the last thing thing he recorded. We get a little insight of his last thoughts, mostly referring to the rap game. He seemed to be fed up with materialistic side of the game and he made that clear with his line, “the difference between you an I, is that, I can rap and I don’t brag about designer bags.”

We lost a true MC but the legacy will forever live on through verses such as this one. Stream and download “Last Straw” below, and if you like what you heard from SMTH, go check out The SMTH Project.
