Skate Video of the Week: Skate Jawn’s “Bruns”

A full hour of grimey-ass East Coast shredding!

On the Lord’s day, #OnTheGrind calls out a new skate edit that slapped us out of our boredom during the work week and reminded us why we were born to roll, and we share it with you.

The East Coast combines like Voltron in what has to be the grimiest (dirt, dust, debris, swamp pool water, abandoned houses, etc.) skate video of 2014 so far. Presenting Skate Jawn’s “Bruns,” a full hour of balls-to-the-wall skating over some of the shittiest (thus gnarliest) urban terrain known to man, sprinkled with civilian and bro-time mayhem in between. The word is that this video physically premiered last summer, but just dropped in full form on the Interwebs, so it qualifies as “new” to us. Notable parts include, Zach Gesko with a non-chalant style that kicks ass over a Johnny Cash track, and Sloan Palder and John Gardener over some vintage Wu-Tang boom bap, that matches their equally as aggressive and go-big style on the board. All made possible thanks to the filming and editing magic of Kevin Winters. Thank you man!
