Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and Wood Harris Star in “Thug Cry”

No crying in this video.

Rick Ross and Lil Wayne have been on one as of late. On Saturday night, Rozay escorted Adrien Broner to the ring before fighting Carlos Molina. Afterwards, Tunechi performed his new single “Believe Me” as Floyd Mayweather trotted out to beat on Marcos Maidana. Now the two rappers team up for the “Thug Cry” music video, one of the best tracks on Ross’s Mastermind.

Directed by Dre Films and starring Wood Harris (you most likely know him as Avon Barksdale in “The Wire”), the music video shows a robbery gone wrong. Harris reflects on the hold up from his jail cell before returning to society. Even if you don’t enjoy Ross or Wayne, this video is worth watching just to see Wood Harris kind-of-sort-of bring back Avon Barksdale.

Watch the new music video for “Thug Cry” in the player up top, and don’t eat too many lemon pepper wings.
