Today we’re hitting you with a brand new track  from Toronto producer/emcee Rich Kidd, entitled “It’s Real Like That,” featuring Charlotee, NC native Deniro Farrar. The song is the first single from We On Some Rich Kidd Shit Vol. 7, the newest edition of Rich Kidd’s annual mixtape compilation, which drops on August 1st. If you haven’t heard his production work before, we recommend checking out Kiddstrumentals Vol. 2, a beat tape he released last week using only Marvin Gaye samples.

“It’s Real Like That” features the smooth strums of a guitar, light kick drums and crisp snares, setting the backdrop for Rich and Deniro’s rhymes about the daily struggles they faced while coming up on the block. Whether it’s supplying the fiends, ducking the cops, or keeping their family fed, the two make sure they have the essentials to survive, namely:

-A Philly to smoke.
-A jimmy to poke.
-A semi-automatic under [their] coat.

Yo, it’s real like that.

Listen to the premiere of Rich Kidd’s new track featuring Deniro Farrar below and be on the lookout for more music from these two artists.

P.S. keep your ear tuned into Rich Kidd’s bars or you might miss a subtle reference to Drake.
