Recess Records “No Games” at Rubber Tracks
You're playing yourself if you don't take a break for some new Recess. Their new track "No Games" kicks back on the boom-bap, jazzy vibes, and stuff.
The Recess gang comprised of Sene and The Clubhouse band are based in Brooklyn, making music in BK. Homegrown, that’s how we like it; that’s how they do it. Their latest record, “No Games” was cut at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Williamsburg. Listen close, if you’ve been following the group since their self-titled album last year, you can hear the progression of the saxophone, played by band member, Sly5thAve, giving the record the smoky jazz feel we’ve come to associate with the cultured musicians. Tune in or tune out. No Tunechi.
