Raekwon The Living Room

Raekwon “The Living Room” (prod. by Illness)

Guess who's in the kitchen stirring up shit?

Talk about a throwback Thursday.

Here we are, in the office looking at Issue Six of the mag, arguing about Raekwon the Chef’s Immobilarity advertisement on the back when the chef himself drops a new track.

Raekwon serves up a hefty dose of lyricism seasoned with a little Motown on his new track “The Living Room.” Spitting viciously over soulful chops ranging from Aretha Franklin to Dionne Warwick (a source tells us the production comes from producer Illness), Raekwon proves that a true seasoned emcee knows when to come through and give the young bucks a proper education on rhyming.

Check out Raekwon The Chef’s “The Living Room” below as well as some of the samples used on the track.
