Block parties are par for the course during a Brooklyn summer and the perfect way to kick off the weekend. So, if you are footloose and fancy free this Friday drop by Electric Summer, a solo exhibition by Andrea von Bujdoss AKA Queen Andrea. A Jack of all creative trades, Queen Andrea has established herself as an impressive fine artist, typographer and graphic artist, not to mention, an OG graffiti gal with dope style. The showcase will display some of her recent paintings, as well as archival giclee prints (as shown below), limited edition screenprints and neon works (featured above). Going down this Friday, August 2nd, from 6-10pm, the show will be accompanied by a nearby block party, with music by DJ Doc TC5. Artists, Cycle, Doves and Cern will be joining QA for some live painting to add to the festivities, so drop in if you’re nearby.
