PREMIERE: Charlie Heat and Ant Beale Are Worth “10K”

The first single from their upcoming EP

Charlie Heat had a great 2016. And he’s not kicking back to rest on his laurels. After signing to G.O.O.D. Music and receiving three Grammy nominations for his production on Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo, he shifted his focus to work with another New Jersey native–Ant Beale–for a new EP set to drop on the 13th. Ant had a relatively quiet 2016 on the other hand, working behind the scenes with Trinidad James and Kehlani.

“10K” comes as the first single off of their collaborative EP No Rain No Flowers. And judging by Ant’s lyrics, he’s doing just fine–10K on his pinky ring, the girls are into him, and he’s comfortably flexing in public. The slapping production from Charlie has a bouncy, infectious bass line that’s complemented by the timeless Soulja Boy “Yup!” ad-lib.

Look out for No Rain No Flowers right here next Friday. And in the mean time, check out Charlie Heat’s Rhythm Roulette episode.
