It’s all about the silhouette for Pharrell and Mark McNairy’s latest venture, BBC Black. While shopping for a new camo print for their BBC Bee Line at Crye Precision – the military outfitter which designs uniforms for the F.B.I and secret service –, Mark spotted a swathe of dense black fabric and so the cogs began to turn for the new line. Given the origins of the material, it’s not surprising that the pair presided over a military inspired collection. S.W.A.T.-like pants, military boots and heavy parka coats mixed in with staples like baseball jerseys and a long-line dress shirt for a contoured collection, despite the all black everything aesthetic. Watch Pharrell and McNasty take GQ through the line in the video above. The new BBC Black collection will launch this fall.
