OutKast Announces ATLast Homecoming Show

The ATLiens phone home.

Forget Santa. OutKast is coming to town. Their hometown of ATL that is.

The ATLiens have graced the stage for tons of festivals all over the world this summer, and even hit NYC for last week’s Governors Ball Festival. We have the photos to prove it! The rap duo gave word via Twitter that they will be playing in their hometown Sep. 27 at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park.

Outkast also gave the following statements to Billboard on the homecoming tour:

Big Boi: It’s only right that we give the hometown what we’ve been giving the rest of the world, ATLiens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers

Andre 3000: Coming from Atlanta gave us the freedom to be whatever we ever wanted to be because no one was paying attention. Now that everyone is, we want to say thank you”

Who are the special guests the group plans to bring along? No official word has been given just yet, but our money is on the lovely Janelle Monae. Stay posted on the homecoming show via the ATLast website.
