Ohimennen NYC – A Finnish Skate Tour of The Big Apple

Enjoy a cinematic tour of the Big Apple via the skateboarding of Finnish ripper Samu Karvonen.

Hate it or love it, New York City remains one of the most tourist-endearing places in the world. People come here for everything. There’s food. There’s theater. There’s skateboarding! Good ol’ East Coast, pothole ridden, broken concrete, dirty sidewalk surfing. And yes, gone are the times when almost all of the awesome architecture was available and skate friendly, thanks to security and skate stoppers. But the city is still a skatepark within itself. Just ask Finnish rider, Samu Karvonen, who’s featured in Ohimennen (Finnish for “passing by”) NYC, a sweet looking montage of skateboarding the city.
