New Biggie Documentary in the Works

One More Chance

Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, Voletta Wallace, has given her blessing for the production of a new documentary profiling the life of one the greatest rappers of all time.

Notorious B.I.G.: One More Chance” is the current working title and the film’s announcement came earlier this week at the Berlin Film Festival. Emmett Malloy and Brendan Malloy, who also worked on “Nas: Time Is Illmatic,” are collaborating with Biggie’s mother on what will surely be a fascinating look into the rapper’s tragically brief life.

“It brings so much joy to my heart that my son Christopher’s music has made such an impact on the music community,” Ms. Wallace said in a recent interview. “His stories have positively inspired so many young men and women over the years, and are still influencing the youth all over the world today.”

It’s hard to believe that next month (March 9th), will mark the 20-year anniversary of the legendary rapper’s tragic death. Today’s announcement doesn’t include a release date, but hip-hop lovers are in luck because the Tupac biopic, “All Eyez On Me “The Greatest,” is slated to come out this summer to hold them over.

And since the trailer for the Biggie movie isn’t out yet, here’s the Tupac trailer in case you missed that.
