After a successful collaboration earlier this year, New Balance and Herschel Supply Co. are teaming up again for a Fall 2013 collection. Not straying far from their blueprint that saw respectable eminence, the companies will be releasing another series of backpacks and New Balance signature models when the leaves begin to change colors.
As for the pack, New Balance will be dropping Herschel-inspired patterns over the signature 420 and H710 silhouettes. These are the exact same models used for their previous collab, which is a little disappointing. I’d like to see some variety as far as models are concerned. But hey, if it ain’t broke then don’t try to fix it. The pack sees new colorways over the 420 and hiking boot H710 models, in Autumn-ready palettes including olive, burgundy, and buttery cool grey. Simplicity is always in style, and you can expect nothing less from this collab, with minimalistic colorways highlighted by the staple Herschel paisley print lining out the sneakers, also utilizing NB’s trademark 3M outlining on the N logo. The shoes employ a combination of ripstop nylon, suede, and reflective materials rounded out with custom Herschel branding on the tongue.
It wouldn’t be a Herschel Supply release if there weren’t backpacks involved. To go along with the New Balance footwear, there will be Heritage backpacks that compliment each shoe’s design, with patterns that embody the spirit of the effort, lined again with the signature paisley pattern that Herschel is notorious for.
Expect the New Balance x Herschel Supply Co. Fall 2013 collection to hit retailers on August 1st, and unlike many other collaborations, these will be readily available. No stress, no sweat, and no camps for some clean kicks, where do I sign up?
