Nas Brings Out Damian Marley & Lauryn Hill At Coachella
Nas returns to Coachella with new surprises on the anniversary of Illmatic.
Continuing the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Illmatic, which dropped on April 19, 1994, Nas hit Coachella on Saturday to perform the entire record front to back. Speaking on the importance of the anniversary, Nas told the audience “Happy anniversary to all of us.”
After last week’s performance featuring guest appearances from Jay Z and Diddy, Nas brought out Damian Marley for a performance of “Road to Zion” as well as Lauryn Hill for an encore performance “If I Ruled The World,” plus a rendition of the The Fugees’ hit “Ready or Not.” Check out footage of Hill’s cameo appearance below.
