New York City graffiti duo MINT&SERF are gearing up for the release of their brand new book and they’d like to invite you to a special pre-release of it at Scrapyard this Friday.
The two have compiled a series of canvases that were painted under the influence, amongst friends, and as far away from their recent corporately commissioned (New York Yankees, Ace Hotel, Marc Jacobs, Soho House) work as possible. The book Support, Therapy and Instability features 23 unique works, some featuring collaborations with amigos like Pablo Power, Jacuzzi Chris and the Peter Pan Posse.
When asked about what the project meant to them and the collaborators MINT replied by stating:
Graffiti is not about being perfect- it’s about the instability of this outlaw lifestyle and the chaos that it brings along for the ride. Graffiti is my life’s turbulence exploded on a wall.
Stop by Scrapyard (300 W. Broadway) today from 6PM-8PM for your opportunity to snag an early copy and meet the duo.
