“Mike Tyson Mysteries” Coming to Adult Swim

Take a bite out of ADVENTURE!

Who doesn’t love a healthy dose of Iron Mike? Well, maybe Evander Holyfield, Robin Givens, those two guys he knocked out in that hotel lobby a few years ago, Michael Spinks…nevermind. If you’re one of the folks that want more Mike Tyson, we’ve got some fun for you.

As is customary with Comic-Con, folks in San Diego got glimpses galore of upcoming movies, comics, graphic novels (there is a difference), video games, technology, shows, and more. We’re not sure who sent out the call or shined the bright “tribal face tattoo” signal into the Brooklyn night sky, but we’re letting out a resounding thank you.

Prepare yourselves for a journey of epic proportions with Mike Tyson Mysteries. This jammie jam is like if Iron Mike was the guest star on Scooby Doo Adventures, hijacked the van, took it to West Coast customs, and then decided to live vicarious through “Johnny Quest’s” Race Bannon or Mr. T.

It’s a whole lot of zany, insanely funny, Mike Tyson goodness. Here’s how the folks at Adult Swim are describing the series,

Mike Tyson is taking the fight from the boxing ring to the streets … by solving mysteries! Aided by the Mike Tyson Mystery Team – the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensbury, Mike’s adopted Korean daughter, and a pigeon who was once a man – Mike Tyson will answer any plea sent to him. If you have a problem that needs solving, Iron Mike is in your corner. The series incorporates live-action appearances featuring Mighty Mike himself, and the gloves come off as the former heavyweight champ and his team gear up for weekly adventures as they put unsolved mysteries down for the count.

Hit the video player up top to check out the new series from the Adult Swim gang, Mike Tyson Mysteries will hit your boob tube this Fall.
