“Off Tha’ Wall” – Michael K. Williams

We catch up with Michael K. Williams to talk about how he got his start as an actor, his role as Omar on "The Wire," as well as his dream role.

By now, most of us are familiar with actor Michael K. Williams. It may be from his breakout role as Omar Little from the HBO’s hit-series The Wire, Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire, or his many film roles such as Malik in this summer’s Snitch. If you follow this guy on Instagram, it’s clear that he’s always working. Despite a hectic schedule he’s super chill and made some time to discuss a few things with us for Off Tha’ Wall.

We caught up with the Brooklyn native to ask him a few questions about how got his start as an actor, his presence in the upcoming Steve McQueen film, Twelve Years a Slave, his favorite albums right now and more.
