Lil Wayne Speaks on Cash Money Situation

After airing out his grievances with Cash Money Records last week, Lil Wayne took things a step further at Vice’s 20th Anniversary party this past Friday.

Acknowledging that the release date for Tha Carter V came and went, Wayne went on to say, “I’m fucked up in a bad situation, but I will be out of it soon.” He then proceeded to make everyone throw five fingers in the air for his pending album.

Wayne’s remarks on stage came after his manager Cortez Bryant told TMZ earlier in the week that everything was fine: “We stayin’ where we at.” However, TMZ gave an update from Bryant with him saying he was being “sarcastic” when he made his original comments about the situation at the label.
