Japan’s Lafayette recently took to the internet to showcase an upcoming preview at their 2013 Fall/Winter Lookbook. Taking on a true New York aesthetic, the brand hit on all marks of that Big Apple Swag from beautiful cuts of some of NY’s biggest icons, down to the funkiest soundtrack (a flawless transition of Tom Scott’s “Today” into Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s “T.R.O.Y.”). The vid takes us through phases of the shoot kicking off with the lovely Bella Massarottl draped out in nothing but some Lafayette stickers in a secluded Brooklyn Hotel Room, followed by shots of the lookbook session shot predominantly in Soho, coincidentally in a studio on Lafayette Street.
It looks like the Lafayette cats have some heat in store for the winter. Previewed are some winter necessities for all you dapper gents, a plethora of pieces essential for any ice cold killer’s wardrobe. Sure to turn heads is their continued collaboration with Disney, we all have a soft spot for the kid at heart with Mickey Mouse. I don’t know about you, but this little vid just got me jazzed for the lookbook and the full release of their collection. After this little slice of steez, I’m all eyes on the future of this brand. Expect nothing but sensational vibes and dope apparel from these guys. Stay tuned right here for the full Lafayette ’13 A/W lookbook, coming soon!
The Lafayette Autumn/Winter 2013 Fall Collection is available now via the Privilege online shop.
