Self-proclaimed “antiquated digital artist” Pathetic Pixels created custom cover artwork for a variety of records from hip hop heavyweight Kendrick Lamar. The works span from Kendrick’s pre Section .80 songs like “Sex with Society” to post good kid m.A.A.d city tracks like “The Jig is Up.” Drawing inspiration from the work of artists like Saul Bass and content of Kendrick’s lyrics, Pathetic Pixels’ artwork conveys just how powerful the content of K Dot’s music is.
Check out the unofficial album artwork below as well as a commissioned piece the artist created for a Kendrick fan depicting individual “scenes” from good kid m.A.A.d city.
