Kate Upton’s Happier Ending for Zoo York Commercial
Having starred in Zoo York ads since 2008, NYC's roaches are now sharing the small screen with supermodel Kate Upton in a recently banned TV spot.
2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star and supermodel Kate Upton added another notch to her belt this week: directing.
Two weeks ago the 19-year-old stunna from Michigan starred in a Zoo York commercial featuring talking roaches. MTV and Adult Swim banned the spot citing profane language as the cause. A censored version of the spot ran during the season premiere of Punk’d . What’s next for fans are three alternate endings to the piece, directed by Upton. The new spots introduce a new character named Roachetta who catches her boyfriend drooling over the swimsuit hottie.
“I’ve always preferred this ending,” Kate Upton said via a statement through Zoo York. “I’m really glad Zoo York decided to release my cut. I feel like this is a scenario that could actually happen in New York City!”
Catch the other two endings on ZooYork.com in the coming weeks.
