Kanye’s Five Real Reasons for Postponing Yeezus Australian Tour
What Yeezus says, goes.
As you may already know, Kanye West has postponed the Australian leg of his Yeezus tour that was scheduled for May. Roc Nation’s official release stated:
Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia. The tour dates originally scheduled from May 2 to May 11, 2014 will now be played from September 5 to September 15, 2014. All tickets for the initially scheduled shows will be honored for the new dates. Dates and cities for the tour are listed below. Get tickets at KanyeWest.com.
That’s fine and all, but something in this scenario seems a bit off. I mean come on, ‘Ye crafted what would become the final version of Yeezus with Rick Rubin in under 3 weeks before the last possible delivery date to the label. That leads me to believe that ‘Ye is rhinestone-masking the true reasoning behind the cancellation.
