Nike continues to capitalize on the forthcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup with various apparel and sneakers embodying the spirit of host country Brazil. Obviously, Jordan Brand had to follow suit and get in on the fútbol fever ahead of Thursday’s kickoff. After an initial preview, Jordan Brand has unveiled the entire Brazil Pack.
The collection plays on the colors of the Brazilian flag with apparel including a sleeveless hoodie, hybrid soccer jersey, tank top, elephant print tee, basketball shorts, and accessories like snapbacks and socks. Of course no soccer kit would be complete without a knit scarf.
But enough about apparel, the main attraction of the pack is undoubtedly the kicks. The “Brazil Pack” will include an Air Jordan VI and CP3.VII AE models. Both silhouettes take on colorways predominantly of black, with yellow and green detailing throughout. The Jordan VI’s upper consists of premium full-grain nubuck and suede leather. Meanwhile, the CP3.VII AE features exposed Flywire technology and no-sew construction, aimed at peak performance with quick transitions in mind.
But there’s a catch, the Air Jordan “Brazil Pack” must be bought together. Or as some would say, buy one get fucked, depending on your disposition. The “Brazil Pack” apparel will release on June 12 at select retailers and Jordan.com. The sneaker pack will release on June 21 for a retail price of $500.
