J Dilla “The Doe”

Jay stay paid.

Last night, Rappcats blessed us with another “lost” vocal cut from hip hop’s drum god titled “The Doe.” The track is another Supa Dave West-produced single from the vinyl release Give Em What They Want EP that follows “Give Em What They Want,” getting us ready for J Dilla’s long-anticipated “long lost” album The Diary.

The Diary is shaping up nicely now, with “Diamonds & Ice,” “Anthem,” and “Trucks” all shutting it down. Until the album actually drops (according to Rappcats, it is “still tangled“), you can cop the Give Em What They Want EP, out now.
