Good news for all you loyal Habitat pawns out there: unlike its brother company Alien Workshop (R.I.P.) it will not be going under. Instead, the brand and its entire team (still intact!) will be starting over under the Tum Yeto distribution umbrella, which includes Toy Machine, Foundation, and Baker Skateboards.
Watch the Habitat x Tum Yeto announcement video in the player above. The whole team gets “movin all along,” and even Jason Dill makes an appearance. Afterwards, head over to Transworld for an interview with Joe Castrucci (the cofounder) and to Jenkem for information from some of the other Habitat Skateboards staff as they chronicle what led to the current situation, and shed more light on the future of Habitat.
