Graff Writers Hold Benefit for UK Artist OKER in London


Graffiti artists risk life, limb and the wrath of the law for their art, but when they gamble and come up snake eyes who supports them? British graffiti artist OKER recently found himself in this predicament when he was sentenced to two years in prison for graffiti-related offenses. Luckily for OKER, a husband and father of two, the international graffiti has rallied around him.

The Pure Evil Gallery in London will host a benefit auction on Thursday (Feb. 21) to help his family in their time of need and they’re selling prints and original paintings by a slew of great artists including: Cope 2, Wane COD, Ces One TMT, JA One XTC, VFR, Skuf, Reas, Craig Costello / KRINK, Noah TFP, Barry McGee / Twist, Amaze, SP.One, Ewok 5MH, Spot KMS, David Villorente / Chino BYI, Oker, Ben Eine, Skore TRC, Petro TFW, Akt One, Tox 13 DDS, Fakso, Egs CDC
