Duck Down Records Presents “The Randomness” With Bun B, Flatbush Zombies, and More
Duck Down Records lobs some random-ass questions at rappers in attendance for Statik Selektah's album release party.
Lost in the June 18th release date hysteria was the fact that Statik Selektah dropped an album featuring Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, Mac Miller, Bun B, and more. To celebrate the release of the star-studded Extended Play, Statik threw a release party and invited some of the album’s guests, like Bun, the Flatbush Zombies, Black Thought, Joey and his Pro Era crew, and more to join him at S.O.B.’s. We were in attendance, soaking in the revolving door of Statik’s super friends, and apparently so was the DJ’s record label, Duck Down, as the above video catches some of them back stage. Akin to our own Off Tha’ Wall series, “The Randomness” tosses tangential questions questions to Bun and the like ranging from favorite adult film star to least favorite song.
Never ceasing to entertain, the grilled rappers spout off a series of highlights, including Juice of the Zombies saying he hates the American National Anthem, and Bun B deciding how old of a woman he would still sleep with. He opts for Pam Grier over Patti LaBelle, though the two are only five years apart, at 64 and 69, respectively. For show highlights catch the video below, and be sure to grab Extended Play, in stores now.
