Drake’s Softness Makes Tennis Star Nick Krygios Drop a Set

People often comment on Drake’s softness. For Australian teen tennis sensation Nick Krygios, Drizzy’s music is the real problem.

Krygios made it to the fourth round of Wimbledon on Saturday after defeating Jiri Vesily (a former junior world number one) 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. Kyrgios, who listens to music before his sets, says that Drake’s beats and rhymes are what messed up his flow and caused him to lose the first set.

“I came out really flat, so hopefully I won’t listen to that again! It was actually Drake. Didn’t do the job for me,”

We wonder what track he was listening to. Maybe it was “Uptown,” which has this gem:

“They just lose to love, those are tennis games lady”

The 19-year-old star is set to face off against Rafael Nadal tomorrow, and when asked whether he could win Krygios replied simply, “Yeah.” This marks just the ninth time a wildcard player has reached the last 16 at Wimbledon in the post-1968 Open Era.

UPDATE: Nick Krygios has actually defeated Nadal 6-7, 7-5, 6-7, 3-6 to reach the quarter-finals of Wimbledon.
