Diadora was long overdue for a comeback. Its iconic running silhouettes brought the Italian brand to prominence in the ‘90s, but its effect died down since. However, after a few of collaborations with top boutiques this year, Diadora is set to regain a spot on your radar. The shoe company is reviving a classic with the N9000 OG “Espresso Ridotto,” which appeared in the original 1990 catalog.
Manufactured in Italy, the N9000 takes on the exact specifications of the original iteration, with an upper constructed of mesh, nylon, and completed with suede overlays. Vivid shades of royal are contrasted by a crisp robin’s egg blue, with embroidered branding found on the tongue, heel tab, and the model on the heel wrap.
Also worth noting is that the Diadora N9000 OG “Espresso Ridotto” is a part of the brand’s “Espresso” program, which entails a limited distribution of exclusive sneakers to the elite sneaker shops in the world. This iteration of the N9000 OG will be sold in extremely limited quantities (255 to be exact) through select retailers like Packer Shoes, Patta, KITH, Concepts, Highs and Lows, and Sneakers76 beginning July 12.
