With an aesthetic (and decks) that give a nod to Basquiat and Andy Warhol, DGK and Thrasher dropped the full “Blood Money” video last night. While the stars of the video are clearly new pros Marquise Henry and Boo Johnson, with whole sections dedicated to each, the rest of the team really murders it (including veteran Josh Kalis, Wade Desarmo and of course Keelan Dadd) with the kind of technical magic that the company’s riders are known for.
These guys regularly tech out so hard that the average trick in this video would be a standout in someone else’s video. The only disappointing part is Stevie only makes an appearance for one trick. But hey, it must be a full time job running DGK. The soundtrack is all hip hop (no surprise there) and includes Rick Ross and Jay Z’s “The Devil Is A Lie,” A$AP Rocky and friends’ “1 Train,” and ScHoolboy Q’s “Banger.”
