Curren$y Confidential: Episode 1, The Come-Up

Rhyme for rhyme, Spitta Andretti is one of the dopest emcees around, not to mention one of realest cats in rap. He doesn’t play industry games or do a whole lot of interviews, but with Canal Street Confidential, Curren$y’s latest album for Atlantic Records, set to drop this Friday, Mass Appeal decided to jet down to New Orleans and kick it with the Jet Life General. All this week, we’ll be featuring exclusive videos as part of our Curren$y Confidential series. To kick things off, we asked the New Orleans rap legend to walk us through his come-up in the rap game, from No Limit to Young Money to Jet Life and beyond. Listen as he talks about the late great Soulja Slim, not to mention Master P, C-Murder, and Lil Wayne.

Hit the video player above to watch the first episode, and keep checking back all this week for more Curren$y Confidential.
