Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1 Haiku Review: The Muggs – Full Tilt
Check out what the Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1 out of Vermont had to say about The Muggs' album Full Tilt in Haiku format.
Montpelier, Vermont is single-handedly bringing pen and paper sexy back. Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1 hollered at Decon Records a month back with an amazingly on-the-money Haiku review of Freddie Gibbs’ Str8 Killa EP. It was smart, funny, and honest. We knew these guys had something special going on. And we knew that we had to get more of their stuff to our readers. So here it is, the first (of hopefully infinite more) installment of the Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1 Haiku Review series. This week they review The Muggs’ Full Tilt.
Dear The Muggs,
We are the Cheap Thrills Record Club USA #1. Once a week, we get together in Montpelier, VT and listen to a record. We find a record no one has heard before and, after listening, we review by Haiku.
This week we chose your record Full Tilt. A few of us have Detroit in our blood, having been raised there. A couple of us have even feather bowled at the Cadieux Café.
Anyways, here are the Haiku we wrote while listening to Full Tilt.
