Celebrate Dre Day This Thursday in Williamsburg

Chuck a deuce and put on your strongest West Coast player look.

Dr. Dre, the man behind such classics as The Chronic and 2001, and products like the headphones you literally see everywhere, turns 49 today. But the good people over at, um, Good Peoples know that it’s a little tricky swinging a Tuesday night out, so you can celebrate the good doctor this Thursday at Baby’s All Right in Williamsburg. The party will have sets from Nick Hook, Michna, and Project Matt, and will be hosted by 40oz Van. We’ll be in the house, spreading love the West Coast way. The festivities kick off at 11 p.m. and tickets are available at TicketFly now, but we’re also giving three lucky people a chance to win tickets to the event.

We hope to see you there, ideally sporting khakis with a cuff and a crease. In the meantime, roll something up, preferably Chronic, and listen to Nick Hook & Mike Bloom’s “DRE DAY NYC MIX.”
