Brooks Brothers ‘The Great Gatsby’ Collection

The hype surrounding Baz Luhrmann’s latest epic, The Great Gatsby continues to rise with the launch of a line of debonair attire from Brooks Brothers. The clothing brand partnered with Academy Award winning designer, Catherine Martin to create over 500 of the men’s costumes for the movie, trawling the archives of the 195 year old brand for inspiration. A selection of the art deco inspired suiting has gone on sale on the Brooks Brothers’ website but with a suit jacket going for $798 buying a copy of the soundtrack might be more feasible. Produced by Jay-Z and featuring a diverse list of high profile talent, the expectations surrounding the music alone almost matches that of the novel’s cinematic adaptation. Check out the trailer above before the release on May 10th.
