On this episode of Rhythm Roulette we decided to stray away from sample based hip hop beats and explored the possibilities of sampling to create other genres of music. Chicago-born, Brooklyn resident Brenmar helped lead the way as he created what we feel could easily be a club hit.
Coming from a background of both underground and commercial hip hop and R&B, Brenmar has learned to take those roots and blend them with the gritt of UK bass, Baltimore club, and other core electronic sub-genres.
Check out Brenmar flip his lackluster record selection, which included a blank record with no music and a underground rap album. Also, be sure to check out Brenmar’s SoundCloud, where he’s consistently dropping flames.
